Sunday, March 11 will be Daffodil Sunday in our
church. Sponsored by the American
Cancer Society, daffodils will be placed in the sanctuary “In Memory of”,
“In Honor of”, or “In Celebration of” a loved one in the fight against
cancer. The daffodil, the first sign
of spring, has been chosen as a symbol of hope, the hope of a new season…hope
for a world free of cancer. To
order, fill out the form on the bulletin insert and return to the church office
with a check made payable to the American Cancer Society.
THANK YOU
so much for the financial support that you give us each year.
We know the ministry is a team effort, and we couldn’t do the ministry
God called us to without our support team. We
are looking forward to what God will do through our ministry this year as we
faithfully serve Him. Thanks again!

Ladies
of PVBC, I am so thankful to the Lord for PVBC and the way this church has
prayed for Warren & I and supported us financially through the years.
Without your love and encouragement it would be so lonely and impossible
to do what God has called us to do! Pray
that Warren & I can teach & train these students to go out and serve our
Lord in whatever ministry they are called to do.
These students are eager to learn and be taught how to apply God’s Word
in their lives. Pray that Warren
& I will be open to their needs and do this ministry with God’s strength. God
bless! Love, Carol Cheek

Just a few lines to thank you so much
for the generous Christmas gift. What
a blessing! May the Lord multiply to
you what you have shared with me. I
want to thank you too for all the supplies you sent for Christmas bags in
Mexico. We are getting back many
reports of how excited the kids have been because of what you shared with them.
Later when we get pictures I hope to send an update and let you see the
happy faces of those that received bags. Thanks
again and God bless each one richly. Have
a very blessed 2012.
Dear
Women of PVBC,
Your
lovely note of Christmas blessings, and assurances of your loving care and
prayers for us was like a breath of fresh air. Thank you for the generous
Christmas gift you sent as well! We are pairing it with a monetary gift from our
children, and replacing some bedroom furniture that we’ve had since we were
married 37 years ago. We want you to know that we appreciate your steadfast
faithfulness in support of our ministry with Awana, and your notes of
encouragement that you send throughout the year – you do a wonderful job of
communicating! In Christ’s Love, Rick and Fairy.
A
big THANK YOU to everyone that helped last Tuesday to move my household goods up
the street 1 ½ blocks to 601 N St. Whether
it was prayer, physical help or food for lunch, all were sincerely appreciated.
